Akin Ünal

Hi, I am a postdoctoral researcher at Institute of Science and Technology Austria in the group of Krzysztof Pietrzak and an FWF ESPRIT fellow (ProvACAna). I did my phd at ETH Zurich under the supervision of Dennis Hofheinz.

My main research field is Algebraic Cryptanalysis, but I also study cryptanalysis and cryptography in other areas (experimental lattice-based stuff, generic group-based lower bounds, etc). In algebraic cryptanalysis, I strive for theoretical results that allow for proving and connecting typical phenomenons of the field.
